The Season of Advent
The word Advent means "coming" and refers to a special liturgical season in which we, as Catholics, prepare for the coming of Jesus. We are asked to prepare ourselves for His coming through prayer, quiet reflection, good deeds and attending mass.
We are called to repent and heed the words of John the Baptist: "Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight." (Mark 1:3b)
As a school community, we are celebrating Advent with weekly liturgies, our Angel Tree, prayers, an ADVENTure Day and Confession.
